Maumere anchorage is located outside a Resort. As you gaze out from your vessel towards the shore, your eyes are drawn to the alluring coconut palms, providing a refreshing respite from the sun’s intense rays, set against a majestic mountainous backdrop.
We had a great experience during our trip with our driver Nachos. He was able to help us find everything we needed, from an ATM to phone credit, and even took us sightseeing around town. One of the highlights of the trip was seeing the stunning view of the statue of Nilo located high on a hill above Maumere. I highly recommend requesting your guide to take you to the markets if you need any supplies during your stay.
